Chesapeake Conservation Nurseries has been asked to provide native plants for 3 large-scale rain garden demonstration projects for the Town of Chestertown! We are very excited about these projects, which will be installed in September of 2010.

Much of the site preparation work has already begun for the 3 sites - Wilmer Park, Rolling Road Park, and Washington Park.

We are looking forward to showcasing the use of native plants in preventing rainwater runoff from entering the Chesapeake Bay. Stay tuned for additional photos and updates. (Below - Kees DeMooy with the Town of Chestertown supervises topsoil delivery and spreading operation at the Rolling Road site.)
